Meeting my Neighbor

Meet my Neighbor invites children and adults to take time to meet people from their neighborhood ; meeting someone they perhaps see everyday in the street without talking to him, but also taking the time to strenghten the relationship with members of their own family through an art project. This project was led with Wolubilis Cultural Center.
The instructions were simple ;
1. Create an intergenerational group: Parent(s) / Grand-parent(s) + child(ren)
2. Take part in three photography workshops proposed by Katherine Longly at Wolubilis
3. Go out to meet someone living in your neighborhood ; you should not know them beforehand
4. Take a photographic portrait, and four other kinds of "portraits" (drawing, reproduction of objects, map of the area, poem, interview, ...)
A small book was released in April 2016.
